migs+drew is a collaboration between Miguel Ferreira-da-Silva (www.mfs-arch.co.za) and Andrew Payne (www.studiodrew.co.za)

 

we are architects, creatives, designers + makers. we love crisp modern, contemporary design but using warm natural materials like timber, marble + granite in a modern way contrasted with slick, modern materials like glass + concrete. we also LOVE nature. migs+drew focuses almost entirely if not completely on work in the natural environment and on safari lodge work across africa + the world. our work is founded in a respect + reverence for nature and the natural environment + our buildings are a direct response to the specific site context, highlighting its preservation whilst amplifying the experience + appreciation of nature for the guest. we are passionate about what we do, + in so doing, preserving the natural environment for our children + their children to enjoy through visitor experience + education through responsible tourism.
